Tune in this weekend as WUMB celebrates the anniversary of the birth of Robert Johnson, born May 8, 1911 in Hazelhurst, Mississippi. Johnson lived only to the age of 27, recorded during two sessions his life (in 1936 and 1937), and didn’t enjoy much commercial success, yet his music and mystique continues to enchant listeners to this day.
