WUMB listeners are affluent, well-educated men and women, most of whom are between the ages of 45 and 54. Community and business leaders, educators, scientists, healthcare providers, and legal professionals make up a large portion of the Folk Radio audience. More than one-third of our 75,000+ listeners report that WUMB is the only radio station they listen to. Others tune in as an alternative to news radio.

Positive Connection
Nearly 90% of public radio listeners agree that they hold a more positive image of companies that support public radio. Most listeners also agree that a company’s support of public radio has a positive influence on their decision to purchase products or services.

Less Clutter
When your business is recognized on air for supporting Folk Radio, you won’t get lost in a bunch of clutter. Most commercial stations air more than 15 minutes of commercials per hour.
