Join WUMB Tuesday, November 23rd as we celebrate the life of North Mississippi Hill Country Blues legend, R.L. Burnside, on the 95th anniversary of his birth.

We’ll share music from his first recordings in 1968 through his revival years with Fat Possum Records in the 1990s and early 2000s.

His influence can be heard today in the music of the North Mississippi All-Stars, The Black Keys, and his grandson, Cedric Burnside.
