If you missed our 1 hour special with Hubby Jenkins you can tune in this Saturday at 1pm. We’ll play back the entire one-hour special which includes conversation and music with Hubby Jenkins: Grammy and Americana Award nominee, music educator, and former member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops and the Rhiannon Giddens Band.

We’ll learn about Hubby’s upbringing in Brooklyn, his musical influences, and how he linked up with the Carolina Chocolate Drops. Hubby will also talk about the black roots of the banjo and will share a few songs on that instrument and the guitar.
