In early November, 1992 Bob Dylan released his first entirely solo, acoustic album since 1964’s Another Side of Bob Dylan. It was also his first album in nearly 20 years that did not feature any original compositions.

It helped launch an era of renewed creative energy for Dylan through the rest of 1990s and early 2000s.
