Filmmaker, John McDermott will be on hand for Q&A

Tedeschi Trucks Band: The Garden Party was a career-defining, sold-out concert held at Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York City on September 29, 2023. Marking the 12-piece band’s debut performance as headliners at the “World’s Most Famous Arena,” the event served as a monumental alternative to their traditional multi-night residency at the Beacon Theatre.

Special Guests and Highlights
The film presents the group’s sold out performance at Madison Square Garden together with an exclusive interview with Derek & Susan.

The legendary evening was noted for its star-studded collaborations and extensive setlist of covers and TTB originals.

• Norah Jones: Duetted with Susan Tedeschi on a debut cover of John Hiatt’s “Have a Little Faith in Me”.
• Trey Anastasio (Phish): Joined for The Who’s “The Seeker” and Lukas Nelson also joined Anastasio for a searing rendition of Derek and the Dominos’ “Layla”.
