Bob Dylan was making history in the years 1965 and 1966. Not everyone was thrilled, but it’s hard to argue that the man had a creative head of steam building. The albums Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited, and Blonde on Blonde changed folk music and rock ‘n’ roll forever.

That is where the 12th volume of Dylan’s Bootleg Series, The Best of the Cutting Edge focuses its attention. Outtakes and demos of classics such as “Like a Rolling Stone”, “Subterranean Homesick Blues”, “Mr. Tambourine Man”, and “Visions of Johanna” are featured in-depth. As with the other releases in Dylan’s Bootleg Series, it is a fascinating glimpse into his creative process during this prolific and ground-breaking time.

Albert O. will showcase selections from this collection released November 6, 2015 all week!
