Johnny A. and Friends – Tis the Season – Featuring James Montgomery, Jon Butcher, and Sal Baglio

Celebrate an evening with some of our most beloved players in the New England blues and rock scene. Guitarist Johnny A. – who has played with the likes of Peter Wolf, Jimmy Webb, Jim Peterik, Stu Kimball, and The Yardbirds – heads up a night of music with some added holiday cheer. Johnny is joined by Dean Cassell on bass, Marty Richards on drums, and Cliff Goodwin on guitar.

As the acclaimed master of his craft, harmonica player James Montgomery has earned legend status for his decades-spanning career. In the blues world, he is truly “of the first and highest degree” playing and touring with major artists including Aerosmith, Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Springsteen, Allman Brothers, and Steve Miller.

Jon Butcher is one of a select handful of influential recording artists who emerged from the fabled Boston music scene. His signature sound features his soul-infused vocals; his guitar work reflects a skillful mix of Rock, R&B, Soul, Jazz, and Americana – all of it filtered through a prism built from the Blues. Jon’s live performances are legendary, electrifying, and critically acclaimed.

Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Sal Baglio is revered in New England for founding the legendary band The Stompers. The band are recognized for four decades of raucous live shows due to a legion of dedicated fans. Baglio releases his solo material under the name The Amplifier Heads. The latest, SaturnalienS, is set for release in October of 2021 on Boston’s Rum Bar Records.
