Saturday August 21st! I was so happy to meet you and have a chance to say hello. It was really nice to hear all the kind words about our show Breakfast With The Beatles! I can’t wait to see you all again!

Now let’s get to some important Beatle News!!

This summer saw the release of the long-awaited All Things Must Pass Box Set, while this fall we are anticipating the release of Get Back which is the Let It Be movie redux, and the Let It Be album which will be given the Box Set treatment it deserves and will be released in conjunction with Get Back.

There never seems to be a lack of material from The Beatles and the solo Beatles catalogues. It’s very exciting for me and millions of Beatles fans around the world that The Beatles well never goes dry.

The All Things Must Pass Box Set was always very special to me. Going back to the day I bought it at the Harvard Coop upon its initial release. With George being my favorite Beatle, it was a thrill to be able to carry home this three-record set masterpiece.

George had so much backlogged material that was standing by waiting to be in Beatles albums. But with all the productivity by John and Paul, there never seemed to enough room on the record and time to work on George’s songs.

It must have been very frustrating for George, but it also must have been very rewarding for him to see his music released in such an elaborate box set.

The new ATMP box set features over 70 song demos in addition to the remastered original album. It is a time capsule of George’s life at that time.

Over the coming week’s we will explore the All Things Must Pass box set on Breakfast With The Beatles! I think you’re going to love it!

The Get Back movie is now a six-hour miniseries on Disney Plus. It promises to show the joy the band had during the filming of the Get Back Sessions, rather than the Let It Be movie from 1970, which showed the boys on the verge of breaking up.

The new upcoming release of the Let It Be box set will be another gem for sure! There are hours of music that was recorded by The Beatles during the filming of the Let It Be Movie. The album has been remastered by Giles Martin, son of George Martin.

Until next month, Peace and Love to you all!
