Happy 4th of July from all of us at WUMB! We have some great programming over the next couple of days including a special edition of American Routes this Sunday at Noon.

This weekend American Routes will sample from nearly a decade’s worth of Concerts that took place at the Washington Monument before the fireworks show on the National Mall. These shows featured the best of American vernacular musical culture such as the Staple Singers, Tito Puente, Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys, New Orleans Tuxedo Brass and more.
