George Harrison would have turned 80 years old on February 25th. Born in 1943 in Liverpool, England, George was the youngest member of The Beatles, and arguably the member who showed the most artistic and personal growth.

With guest Cha-Chi Loprete, the Morning Show on WUMB will celebrate the life and music of George Harrison on Friday, February 24 at 9 AM by sharing recordings of The Beatles, solo albums, The Traveling Wilburys, other collaborations, live performances and interviews.

Albert will honor George on Highway 61 Revisited on Saturday from 8 AM to noon (re-broadcast Sunday at 8 PM), and Cha-Chi will continue on Breakfast with The Beatles on Sunday, February 26th starting at 10 AM. Both weekend shows will also be archived at the Weekend Archives for WUMB Members.
