In meeting this mission, WUMB presents a broad range of Folk Music, Roots and World Music and other specialized social and cultural programming. Integral parts of the broadcast schedule include daily live interviews with local and national musicians and community leaders, syndicated programming from Public Radio International, as well as an abundance of public affairs and public service programming.
Funding for the WUMB Public Radio Network is supplied by the University of Massachusetts, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and through the commitment and generosity of our listeners and Corporate Partners.
WUMB is affiliated with the Associated Press, Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Massachusetts Broadcasters Association, Massachusetts Cultural Council, National Association of Broadcasters, Public Radio International, and Achievement in Radio Board of Governors.
