Join us for a special day of live music all day Friday from 6am-7pm, as we help celebrate the 4th of July with Live Across America! We'll hear live music all day from some of your favorite American performers (and those we wish to adopt) like Leonard Cohen, Roseanne Cash, Tom Waits (pictured) and many more! 2009 Boston Folk Fest Songwriting Contest - Deadline extended to July 20th - judges announced

The Boston Folk Festival's annual Songwriting Contest will again be taking place the night before the Festival, on Sept 12th at the UMass Boston Campus. This year's judges include Cindy Bullens and Jeff Black. The deadline for applications has been extended until July 20th. Details available now at here. (07/01)
